How it works
Welcome to Road to Lakefest…….a chance of a lifetime!
Competition for Independent Emerging Bands and Artists to win a Slot on the mainstage at Lakefest 2024, £1500 cash + 3 days recording at Ox4studios with Mark Gardiner(From the band Ride) producing.
Round 1
Submit one of your tracks using the form below by the April 12th 2024.
Lakefest panel of judges will then choose the top submissions, if chosen we will ask your for more information including a video. We will then hold a combined judge and public vote via the Lakefest website where the top artists will go through to Round 2.
Round 2
Semi Finals _ Live heats
Will be held on the weekend of 31st May – 2nd June at Croft Farm in Tewkesbury, each act will get a slot and 6 bands from this will go to the grand final. All bands who make the semi finals will get a chance to play the Road to Lakefest stage at Lakefest 2024
Grand Final
Held in Cheltenham at the annual Summer Jam on Saturday 27th July. The winners of this will get a slot on the mainstage at Lakefest on Thursday 8th August – The Stranglers . The Libertines/Jake Bugg/Olly Murrs will be also on that same stage over the weekend!. As well as a slot in the road to lakefest stage, so you get to play twice, £1500 cash to help towards your music career and 3 days recording at Ox4 Studios. There will be a 2nd prize of £750 and 3rd Prize of £500
