WHAT ARE THE DATES FOR LAKEFEST 2017, WILL IT BE AT EASTNOR CASTLE AGAIN?
The dates for #Lakefest2017 are: 10-14th August; yes, we certainly will be returning to Eastnor Castle Deer Park.

WHY HAVEN’T MY TICKETS ARRIVED?
You will have been sent an eTicket from the lovely people at The Ticket Sellers when you purchased your tickets. If your eTicket still hasn’t arrived, be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder.
Failing that, you will need to contact The Ticket Sellers directly:

CAN I CHOOSE A PITCH NEXT TO MY FRIENDS IN LIVE-IN / RESERVED CAMPING?
Yes, you can.
Upon booking you will select the row that you wish to stay in then The Ticket Sellers will send you an email confirming your row, giving you the option of requesting a specific pitch(es). The allocation of pitches is based on a first come, first serve basis. Though The Ticket Sellers cannot guarantee your requested position, they will attempt to place you as near as possible. You will be given four weeks to do this, after this date, you will be placed on the Row at any space left over.

HOW MUCH IS IT TO PARK AT LAKEFEST?
£10 for the duration of your stay.
The dealing in or use of illegal drugs is not tolerated by Lakefest in any way. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country. If you deal in drugs, it is very likely that you will be arrested. Security searches will be in place on the gates in order to stop any illegal drugs entering the site and security will be patrolling the festival site. There will be a police presence inside the event, please respect them, drugs are ILLEGAL.
IS THERE ANY FANCY DRESS GOING ON?
Thie year, we are heading to Hawaii for our fancy dress theme. So, get creative and hopefully the sun will shine!
CAN I LEAVE AND RETURN TO THE FESTIVAL DURING THE WEEKEND?
Yes, but you will only be able to gain access during the gate opening hours (these will be confirmed nearer the time).
CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CAN’T MAKE IT?
All tickets are non-refundable.
HOW CHILD FRIENDLY WILL THE FESTIVAL BE AND WHAT TICKETS DO CHILDREN NEED?
Very child friendly! We just won ‘Best Small Festival 2015’ by FestivalKidz and were thrilled to win The Families Choice Award 2014, in 2015. We make sure that younger guests have lots to keep them entertained.
Entry is free for children aged 5 and under, but they must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Please ensure that the guardian/ parent has proof of age (e.g Passport) if the child looks like they are aged 6 or over.
WILL THERE BE ANY ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS?
There sure will be. Check out our ‘‘Family‘ page and discover all of the activities for the little (and big) kids.
We even have our ‘Lil Lakers Creche’ on site, meaning you can leave the kids to be fully entertained with our experienced and qualified team, while you slip of to watch some bands, sip some cider and have a boogie!
HOW DO I SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FOR TRADING?

- One pass must be purchased per vehicle for access to the campervan field. These may only be purchased by ticket holders
- NO CARS with tents permitted. Live-in vehicles should either be a caravan, motorhome or a campervan. No exceptions.
- Only ticket holders with the correct wristband will be granted access to the live-in vehicle field
- Vehicles accepted in the live-in vehicle field include the following vehicle types: Campervan, Caravan (Car may be parked adjacent), Trailer tents, Live-in vans
- There are no water hook ups
- Sleeping in vehicles in the carpark is not permitted
- The same toilet/ shower/ water/ security facilities will be provided in the live-in field as in the rest of the festival
- Opening hours for entrance to the live-in field are the same as for the main festival gates
- NO GENERATORS may be bought on site
- Only one gas bottle may be bought on site per vehicle
- Awnings are permitted.
CAN I BRING IN MY OWN ALCOHOL?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own alcohol if you are camping. Any alcohol that you bring is only permitted to be consumed in the camping areas. No personal alcohol will be permitted in the main festival area. Please only bring what you can carry. ie. No shopping trolleys filled to the rafters!

Soft drinks may only be brought in if the bottles are NOT open.
CAN I BRING MY OWN BBQ?
Of course! But we take your health and safety VERY seriously. Therefore, the operation of BBQs will not be permitted at ground level due to the associated fire risk to the land. All BBQs and gas stoves must be raised from the ground by at least 12 inches. Disposable BBQs and open fires are strictly prohibited.
CAN I SELL OR USE SKY OR CHINESE LANTERNS?
Sorry folks, as pretty as they are, lanterns of this type are forbidden to be used or sold on site. They are not to be brought into the venue and/or campsite and cannot be released from the venue. Sky lanterns can cause a potential fire risk, cause damage to the countryside and wildlife.
WILL THERE BE MEDICAL COVER?
We have some super lovely medical people who are very qualified to deal with ALL festival accidents. If you need them, please go see them, they are non judgemental people who will treat you fairly and squarely.
WILL THE TOILETS BE TO MY SATISFACTION?
Toilets at festivals are a barometer of your behaviour the more you respect and look after the toilets, the cleaner they will be. We do our best to ensure all the toilets are serviced regularly, and are as clean as possible! All toilets blocks are also fitted with an alcohol hand gel sanitiser.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
If you have a friendly dog that is used to being around lots of people then feel free to bring your dog. Dog owners must clean up after their dogs and remain responsible for their dog at all times; please take into consideration the weather – especially if is particularly hot, access to water and to protect dogs from direct proximity to loud speakers, which could potentially, damage their hearing.
IS THERE DISABLED ACCESS
Yes, there sure is. Here at Lakefest, we do everything we can to make our festival as accessible as possible.
CAN I GET A DISABLED 2 FOR 1 TICKET?
All disabled festival tickets include a free ticket for one carer. When purchasing tickets, if a disabled ticket is selected then two tickets will automatically be issued. Please present Blue Badges, or equivalent, on arrival so our stewards know that they need to direct you to the accessible camping area.
WILL THERE BE AN ACCESSIBLE CAMPING AREA?
Lakefest has an accessible camping area which allows campers to park next to their tents. There are disabled toilets located in the accessible campsite. Disabled shower facilities are available on the campsite but are not situated within the accessible camping area.
WILL THERE BE DISABLED TOILETS?
Yes, there will be disabled toilets accessible throughout the festival arena and in the accessible camping field.
WHAT IF I NEED ASSISTANCE…?
Stewards are available for any assistance needed if and when required.
Guide dogs are welcome.
Please be aware that flashing and strobe lights will be featured in the festival. Any questions you may have relating to accessibility at the festival then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Lakefest was born unofficially on April 9th 2011 when Croft Farm Waterpark hosted its inaugural music and cider festival. The 2011 effort was essentially a giant cider festival (over 32 different ciders available and real ales aplenty) accompanied by some great music from The Wurzels, Avert Francis and The Roving Crows. Over 9000 pints of cider were enjoyed by revellers that shared a super special day in the sunshine. It was an epic experience for everyone and the so-called ‘lads’ (organisers) chose to grow things a little in 2012…Lakefest was born!
Memories are made amidst the magical scenery and the return of familiar faces year upon year is why we started all of this in the first place; along with the continued growth of new revellers that head to us each year. It’s been a meteoric rise but we have vowed to stick to the friendly, slightly hippie West Country roots and continue to build a festival that is friendlier and more fun than any other. As you can probably tell by the price of the ticket, the ‘lads’ are more interested in legacy and memories than financial gain. So much so, the organisers publish their personal telephone numbers if people want to talk to them. That’s unheard of but testament to the beliefs of the organisers.
Our fifth year witnessed Lakefest relocating to the spectacular Eastnor Castle, Ledbury – where else, of course? Lakefest do treat all their guests as royalty, after all. The plan isn’t to be a Reading or Glastonbury or even replicate The Big Chill but to build something special for people that want to laugh, drink, laugh, dance, laugh and party with all their friends and family. A Latitude without the commercial edge has always been the vision and will remain so. Our promise to you? An awesome weekend filled with world-class music, more activities than you can shake a stick at and a bar to help with the dancing… whatever the weather. Oh, and few extra special surprises along the way. See you there for #Lakefest2017!

What started out as a simple tee shirt worn by Pro riders to show support and solidarity for Stephen Murray has developed into something much greater. Two words that have helped unite the action sports community and now inspire people across the globe from all walks of life.
From the first original tee shirt a growing range of clothing, bike parts and accessories has been developed.
These two powerful words deliver a simple message… At some point in our lives each and everyone of us will need to “Stay Strong” for family, friends or just our own “State of Mind.”
