As far as festival locations go… we’re pretty smug! Eastnor Castle is an award winning tourist attraction nestled in the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and set in 5000 acres of parkland, just a few miles from the medieval market town of Ledbury in Herefordshire. We host Lakefest in the beautiful surroundings of the Deer Park, boasting views that will make you never want to leave. DON’T FORGET that all of our 2021 ticket holders will gain half-price entry to the castle itself on Thursday the 12th & Sunday the 15th of August… not to be missed.

This historic house is full of medieval armour and fine art and in the beautiful grounds visitors will find an arboretum and a lake with many spectacular walks, trails and views.
Children of all ages will have endless fun in the Adventure Playground, Knight’s Maze, Junior Assault Course and many more attractions. Tree climbing, hill rolling, leaf kicking and stick collecting is also actively encouraged as children connect with the great outdoors.
We programme a wide variety of FREE activities across the weekend to ensure that there’s always something new to do.

The craft area is a beautiful and relaxing area where you can learn traditional crafts such as willow weaving, raku, beaten copperwork, blacksmithing, herbalism and more to be confirmed. Sit under the oak trees, enjoy watching the Lakefest world go by, play giant draughts or feed the hungry hippo a tennis ball.

The malvern hills
The castle, grounds and deer park sit within a valley nestled in the malvern hills an area of outstanding natural beauty. A site of biological and geological special scientific interest, rich with history there is much to see and do. All within walking distance from the festival site you can walk to the ridgeline and be rewarded with incredible panoramic views of the Severn valley and Welsh mountains. Aside from the huge number of varied footpaths and cycle paths there are also a number of natural springs which gave birth to the spa town Malvern and led to the production of modern bottled drinking water!
