Stereo MC’s

In 1992 the Stereo MC’s shook the foundations of alternative dance music with their remarkable single “Connected” that saw them scale the charts in the UK, US and around the world. The band were one of the first ‘dance’ bands to play to massive crowds at alternative-rock festivals as well as raves and everything between. Their unique amalgamation of hip-hop, alt. dance, electronica and house saw the band rise to meteoric heights and take home the awards for Best Group and Album in 1994’s Brit Awards as well as being shortlisted for a Mercury Music Prize in the States the year previous.
